Sierra Rios

Sierra is originally from San Diego and graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in Cognitive Science. She previously worked in academic advising at Muir College before arriving at Marshall College. In her role at Marshall, Sierra serves as the program coordinator and advisor for the Thurgood Marshall College HBCU Exchange Program and the Public Service minor. Additionally, she serves as a liaison to the Chancellor's Associate Scholar Program (CASP), the Black Resource Center (BRC), and the Black Alumni Scholarship Fund (BASF).

Sierra's advice for all students is to take advantage of their time during undergrad to step out of their comfort zone and gain life skills through experiential learning opportunities.
